Cancellation Policy
At AMS Machinery, we believe in providing high-quality pouch packaging machines with transparent pricing and reliable service. We understand that sometimes customers may need to cancel their orders due to various reasons. To ensure a smooth process, we have established a clear cancellation policy that explains the conditions under which an order can be canceled, the refund process, and any applicable charges.
1. Order Cancellation Eligibility
You can request cancellation of your pouch packing machine order under the following conditions:
✅ Before Dispatch – If you cancel your order before the machine is shipped, a full or partial refund may be applicable.
✅ After Dispatch – If the machine has already been shipped, cancellation may not be possible, or charges may apply (see Section 3).
✅ For Customized Orders – If you have ordered a machine with special modifications or custom specifications, cancellation is only possible before production starts.
🔴 Cancellations will NOT be accepted in the following cases:
❌ If the order has already been delivered.
❌ If the machine was customized as per your specific business requirements.
❌ If the cancellation request is raised after 24 hours of placing the order and production has started.
2. Cancellation Process
If you wish to cancel your order, please follow these steps:
📩 Step 1: Submit a Cancellation Request

- Provide your order number, invoice details, and reason for cancellation.
🔍 Step 2: Verification
- Our team will verify whether the order has been dispatched or is still in processing.
- If the cancellation is eligible, we will proceed with the next steps.
💰 Step 3: Refund Processing (if applicable)
- If the cancellation is approved, the refund will be processed within 7-10 business days as per Section 4.
3. Cancellation Charges & Fees
The refund amount depends on the stage at which the order is canceled:
3.1 Before Dispatch
🔹 Within 24 hours of placing the order – Full refund, no cancellation charges.
🔹 After 24 hours but before dispatch – 10% cancellation charge will be deducted (to cover processing and administrative costs).
3.2 After Dispatch
🔹 If the machine has already been shipped, cancellation is not possible. However, if the customer refuses to accept the delivery, refund will be processed after deducting:
✔️ Shipping charges (both ways)
✔️ 10% restocking fee
📦 Customers must ensure the package is returned in original condition to qualify for a partial refund.
3.3 Cancellation of Customized Orders
⚠️ Orders with special modifications, size adjustments, or additional features cannot be canceled once production starts.
- If cancellation is requested before production starts, a 20% processing fee will be deducted.
- If production has already started, no refund will be provided.
4. Refund Process & Timeline
If your order cancellation qualifies for a refund, the process is as follows:
🔹 Online Payments (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Bank Transfer) – Refund is processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
🔹 Cash Payments – Customers must provide bank details for a bank transfer refund within 5-7 business days.
🔹 EMI/Loan-Based Orders – Customers should check with their financing partner regarding cancellation terms. AMS Machinery will process the refund based on the loan provider’s policy.
5. Exceptions & Special Cases
🔹 Unforeseen Delays – If your machine’s production is delayed beyond the committed timeline, you may cancel your order with a full refund.
🔹 Duplicate Orders – If you mistakenly placed multiple orders, inform us immediately. A full refund will be issued for the duplicate order if the request is raised within 24 hours.
🔹 Force Majeure – If cancellation occurs due to natural disasters, government restrictions, or unforeseen technical failures, refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
6. Important Terms & Conditions
📌 Cancellation requests must be raised within the specified timeframe to be eligible for a refund.
📌 Once an order is processed for dispatch, cancellation may not be possible.
📌 Refunds are subject to deductions for processing, handling, and shipping charges if applicable.
📌 AMS Machinery reserves the right to modify or deny cancellation requests if the policy conditions are not met.
